Sales were up in Northstar in 2010 almost 8% over 2009  (compared to a decline of almost 10% in California overall). Lots sales did especially well as lot prices dropped and buyers decided to once again build their dream homes. 70 properties sold in Northstar in 2010 according to the Tahoe Sierra Multiple Listing Service compared to 65 in 2009. 19 homes sold, the same number as the prior year. 44 condos sold compared to 45 in 2009. 27 of the condo sales were in the new development compared to 37 last year. 7 lots sold compared to only 1 last year.
